Detox dietEveryone eats the best, so what the real fundamental of a detox diet and how does it work?

Diets to clean out your innards! Not really! A detox diet can be good for you or it can be bad for you. You hear of celebrities going on detox diet and even alcoholic and druggies go into detox, so what’s the difference.

The basis of a detox diet. Toxins and chemicals are presenting almost types of food we eat in the form of fertilizers, pesticides, coloring agents, preservatives, taste additives, and so forth. On an average we don’t really pay attention to what we eat and how much of it we eat. It’s these same chemicals which can cause chronic diseases like bronchitis, asthma and skin conditions in humans, (although it does take a long time and it really depends on how you eat).

Detox diets emphasize giving up of certain types of food which are loaded with chemical and preservatives which cannot be excreted by the body and can collect causing diseases. Most detox diets emphasize giving up food for a few days and going for frequent colonic irrigations to clean out your body. A few may even recommend nutritional supplements.

But do be careful! Detox diets are recommended for a few days only: just till your system clears out. And rapidly growing children and teenagers really need their food and nutrition, so detox diets are not recommended for them.
