Exercises to Avoid When You Suffer From Back Pain
April 30th, 2008 By sambriones in Health TipsBack pain is a common complaint for many of those who exercise. Unknown to many, most people actually suffer some form of scoliosis, ranging from mild to severe. For these people, it might be best to steer clear of the following exercises, so they can avoid getting back pain too. Here’s a general list:
1. Lifting heavy weights
2. Sit ups with straight legs
3. Curl Ups
4. Leg lifts
5. Toe touches
All of the above mentioned exercises put extra stress and strain on your back, which may aggravate your already present condition of back pain. Always perform exercises with caution. Listen to what your body is telling you and don’t force anything if you feel severe pain. It is also good to consult a doctor before trying new exercises.
