Follow these guidelines toward weight loss and you could be a big winner. Always remember that before starting a strenuous routine get you checked out with a trained doctor to prevent injuries. Get a proper warm up and cool before and after your routine to prevent injuries.
- Always aim at a healthy weight loss i.e. not more than a pound in two weeks.
- Green tea is found to boost metabolism. So sip green tea at least 3 times a day.
- If you are bored with your workout, do walking for that session. After 5-minutes of your walk, jog for one minute. This can be done for biking as well. After every 5 minutes change to a higher gear and pedal harder.
- Fidgeting will burn at least 5000 calories a day (no jokes!).
- By squeezing a squeeze ball, you can lose lots of calories as well as strengthen your fingers.
- Make work outs in the open air. You will feel fresh.
- Eating spicy food also helps to increase your metabolism.
- Eat at least 5 small meals a day. You can increase your metabolism and thus lose pounds.
- Sipping coffee also will help you to increase metabolism although too much can get you addicted to caffeine. Try to strike a healthy balance.
- Burn more calories with some tricks such as swing your hands while walking. Walk on sand, grass, or gravel instead of road, because it takes more muscle power and thus burns more calories. When you are walking in the beach keep your ankles in the water and walk, walking against the water burns more calories.
For a better health and superior fitness, be careful while trying always new diets or fads. Don’t follow the hype blindly. Opt for whatever is suitable for you.
Be careful and don’t hurt yourself on your chosen weight loss diet!
