The following are effective ways to beat binging and keep you from over eating! Some ways are more severe than others, and it’s totally up to you to follow the method that makes you feel most comfortable.
1, Take all the fat and high calorie food from your house and throw them away or give them to someone else. Although severe, this way assures that you won’t have things lying around that might tempt you into binging.
2. Leave your most favorite food, let’s say a box of chocolate. Leave 1 box on your freezer and just take 1 chocolate out and eat it if you’ve done something to deserve it. This is a way to still have your favorite food around but still control your overeating. This reward system will also motivate you to do well in your workout routine too!
3. If there is a food item that is binge worthy to you, don’t keep it in the house! You may enjoy it if you go out. Take for example ice, if you love it so much that you can eat a whole tub, then don’t keep a whole tub in the house and eat a scoop at the ice cream shop! I’m sure you will be embarrassed to order a whole tub at the shop. This way, you are still enjoying and giving in to your craving!
