If you choose to diet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, it may not be the pounds that you say goodbye to first. It may be your sanity.
Dieting with no breaks can lead to a feeling of depression. If you do it, you’re setting yourself up for a life of suffering with no foreseeable alleviation and redemption. In other words you’re setting yourself up to fail!
What you need to do is give yourself a cheat day or a cheat meal. This is one day a week where you can indulge in a favorite meal. This way you can give in to your craving and lessen the risk of binging.
Your cheat day is also your reward day too. You deserve something for your week’s hard work!
