Fast food is bad for us (generally speaking!)! The portions are too big! And everything is cooked with excessive amounts of oil, fat, salt and presrvatives! Cut your fast food habit with these simple tips
1. Start brining your own snacks or lunch to work- when you actually have food with you, you’ll find it impractical to buy a second meal from your neighborly fast food chains
2. Take a different route- if on your way to work, you happen to pass by a fast food and cannot help yourself from stopping by the drive through, then find a different route! Out of sight is out of mind, when you won’t see the fast food store, you’re less likely to look for it and stop by it
3. Slowly ease up on the fast food- if you find that its too hard to go cold turkey, it’s best to ease up on your fast food intake slowly. For example, if you’re used to getting fast food 5 times a week, try to reduce it to 3 this time, cut back some more next week, and then the week after that. You’ll find that it will get easier to give it up, and you’ll discover other healthier food choices along the way!
