Most of us are in such a hurry to reach work and finish our household activities; the last thing on our mind is to eat food. And if you are like me, eating in the morning simply makes me nauseous. So although the common idea is eating breakfast is healthy ,is it really true and does it have any benefits?

  • Eating breakfast is healthy as it provides your body with the necessary sugar required to work the body after a whole night running on stored food. The food you eat in the morning is enough to help you out through out the day.
  • You could consume almost the entire requirements of vitamins and minerals for the entire day.
  • By replenishing the glucose levels in your blood right in the morning you can kick start your brain into activity.
  • Eating a proper breakfast increases your endurance and strength for the coming day.
  • Eating a healthy breakfast can also reduce your appetite throughout the day and research shows that this can reduce your tendency to get a heart attack and decrease high cholesterol levels.

For a healthy breakfast, you should  choose one type of fruit,wholemeal grain, dairy product, as well as, protein.
