Practical Tips to Lessen Fat in Food

1. Use a nonstick pan for cooking so you don’t have to add oil, which is fat.
2. When frying, don’t pour out vegetable oil. Lightly spray the pan with vegetable spray, which gives it an even coating while using less!
3. Instead of sour cream or mayo, use a low fat yoghurt based dressing in your salad.
4. Before using chicken or beef broth, chill first. The fat then becomes solid. Spoon it ff before you reuse the broth.
5. Roast, bake or broil! All these methods drain fat!
