Reasons To Avoid High Protein, Low Carb Diets

1. A low carb diet destroys healthy glycogen in the body. So you’re not actually losing fat, you’re losing muscle, and slowing your metabolic rate in the process!
2. When glycogen depletion happens, the body gets tired right away. You lose the strength to exercise and move, which eventually will make you gain weight!
3. These diets make your muscles and skin sag, which is not an attractive look!
4. You’re actually losing weight because your body is dehydrated!
5. A high percentage of people who have tried this diet not only gain back the weight, but gain some more to go along with it!
