Does the order in which you do your exercise really matter? Experts don’t seem to think so. The old school way was always to stretch out first but new studies are proving that stretching out doesn’t really lessen the risk of injuries.
What is still recommended is a warm-up- doing a lighter version of the exercise you’re about to do. Of course, you must not forget the cool down either!
Studies have also shown that it may be better to start with the weights and then go on with the cardio workout as opposed to the other way around. This is to prevent fatigue from getting to your weight workout.
