Vegetables can be filling and flavorful- if cooked right! Here are cooking suggestions to give life to your boring veggies!

1.Steaming- it’s fast and preserves nutrients and the fresh taste! Steaming is nice for carrots, spinach and broccoli.

2.Roasting- this is another quick and simple way to enjoy vegetables. Roasting also gives that yummy taste of something that’s been slow cooked. A nice way to roast would be to brush your choice of vegetables with olive oil. You can also put some salt, pepper and garlic powder on them.

3.Stir-fry- Who doesn’t enjoy a good stir fry? The vegetables are colorful, crunchy and still packed with flavor. Stir-frying can be achieved by putting a little chicken broth on the pan, and adding the vegetables just until they turn glossy.

4.Panning- This cooking method uses the veggies’ own juice to cook in. All that needs to be done is to put a little olive oil, sliced vegetables that are well seasoned in a frying pan. Cover the pan, put it to medium heat and check the veggies after 5 to 8 minutes. They will have crisped up by then and can be served as a delicious treat!
