Well to tell you the truth I really liked this site.A person who likes to recycle. Almost every one get a yellopages and they change every year with new additions and supplements coming in through out the year. Here’s something I do with my old yellow pages.

PAPIER MACHE formula.

Take the old yellow pages rip out all the pages except the colored and glossy pages.Shred the pages till you have longitudinal strips of an uniform thickness.I take the whole lot of paper shreds and soak them for a week in boiling hot water.

Be careful to change the water daily or it gives off a funky odor. Now the color is really weird and you need to get rid of it if you wish to get a great sculpture. You can try adding a teaspoon of bleach to the daily water change and it works for me.

After a week you get a weird mush of papers which you have to sift completely of water in a sieve.I then take the paper mush and give it a good whirl in a food processor .

Different people use different binding agents to make sure the paper mush will stick together to form a dough .You can try wallpaper paste. glue or special papier mache pastes present in hobby shops of the market. But I prefer a paste of plain old flour added to the food processor while whirling.Works like a dream and keeps shape wonderfully.

You can use this paste to mold and sculpt as many shapes as you like. be careful to cover your sculpture with a final cover of varnish to prevent it from deteriorating.
